Who We Are

At Illi Initiatives, we believe a peaceful and prosperous future of the MENA region is contingent upon our ability to foster meaningful and sustainable relationships across ethnic, religious, and national boundaries. It also requires having innovative leadership at all levels of society and in all realms of life. Encounters - at eye level - are one essential ingredient in building meaningful relationships.

Illi Initiatives works with a diverse international team of academics and practitioners who have experience and expertise in conflict analysis and resolution, and extensive knowledge of international affairs, and particularly the MENA region. We also work in close partnership with MENA-based organizations and community leaders.

Following ILLI Initiatives' successful endeavors in the MENA region, we have recently expanded to offer trips to and internships in additional regions of the world.

What We Do

To achieve its goals, ILLI offers a variety of programs, including international travel throughout the MENA region; exchanges between internationals and people from the region as well as between various groups within the region; immersion and other intensive language study programs; the opportunity to do an internship or service learning in the country and field of choice; and conflict resolution and leadership development workshops and training.
