MOROCCO: SIGHTS & INSIGHTS
Fall 2019; Winter 2019
Join us this fall or winter as we travel through Morocco and explore its cultural and geographical
tapestry. We will visit big cities and desert villages and towns; meet with members of Amazigh,
Arab, and Jewish communities; explore religious and cultural sites; meet academics, activists,
religious leaders, policy-makers, professionals, and artisans; and examine intercommunal relations
in historical and contemporary contexts. While in Morocco, we will also engage in service-learning
activities with community-based NGOs and Associations.
The program offers a perfect opportunity for students conducting research projects in the region, as well as anyone interested in an in-depth exploration of the country's history and current affairs.
For those interested, there is a possibility of staying in the region longer and being placed in an internship and/or language study program. It is also possible to join our trip to Israel prior to this trip. For more information about the Israel/Palestine Trip press
